Chandler Public Library resumes in-person Story Time Tuesday, Sept. 7

Story Time will resume Tuesday, September 7 at 9:30 a.m. and run through Tuesday Nov. 23 just before Thanksgiving. We will continue with the Summer Reading Program theme of Tails and Tales reading about all kinds of animals, zoo animals, jungle animals, farm animals and pets. In between reading about animals we will celebrate various holidays such as Grandparents Day, the first day of Fall, Halloween, Veteran’s Day and Thanksgiving.
On Tuesday, September 7 we will celebrate Grandparents Day reading books about grandparents and making a craft for grandparents. On September 14 we will recognize National Library Card month. We will be reading books about Libraries and children will have an opportunity to sign up for their own Library card.
We look forward to children returning to in-person programs. We are continuing cleaning protocols in the library which include cleaning after everyone leaves, cleaning the outside of materials and letting them stand for 24 hours before putting them back in circulation.
The Chandler Public Library is located at 1021 Manvel, the corner of 11th and Manvel. For more information about Story Time contact us at 405-258-3204.
