Summer Reading Program @ the Library

The Chandler Public Library will resume their Summer Reading Program this year on a much smaller scale. The theme for the 2021 Summer Reading Program is Tales and Tails. This year’s program will be for children five-years-old and under. Each age group will attend their own program.
Programs are scheduled as follows:
Tuesday, June 1, 10-11 a.m. 0-2-year-olds
Tuesday, June 8, 10-11 a.m. 3-year-olds
Tuesday, June 15, 10-11 a.m. 4-year-olds
Tuesday, June 22, 10-11 a.m. 5-year-olds
We can have no more than 10 children at each program, parents will need to stay at the Library for the younger children. So…registration for the programs will be required. Parents can sign-up their children at the Library between May 3-28.
Children enrolled for the in-library programs will be assigned a mailbox and will receive weekly activities and incentives during the month of July.
There will be no snacks served at the programs.
There will be an End of Summer party for children who participated in the earlier programs and their families on Tuesday, August 3 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Tilghman Park.
More information about the End of Summer party will be in the children’s mailboxes. For more information about the 2021 Summer Reading Program call the Library at 405-258-3204 or come by the Library at 1021 Manvel or check in with us on Facebook.
